Ali Edwards offered free digital items for 12 days and I opted to make tags. She asked us to add them to Pinterest under #AED12Days2016 and I even managed to do that too. The project was a good excuse to listen to Christmas songs and play with PaintShop Pro.

#AED12Days2016 | janebradbury.comI haven’t done a #DecemberDaily project this year, and thought these may fill the gap. I pulled materials from a variety of sources; Graphic Stock, old digital kits and made quite a lot myself. I recoloured, I pulled motifs from backgrounds and I even did some digital colouring.

Some I printed and cut using the Silhouette, and they made great thank you tags to hang out for people like the milkman – though I’d forgotten about the damp mornings, but even so, it survived.

The photo above is unedited apart from adding the black border; the colours printed true, except for the red which is darker than my digital version. I haven’t printed blocks of red for years, and when printing these again I’ll fiddle with the brightness just to make them a bit more – well, red.

It’s almost New Year – perhaps I’d best start planning my projects for 2017?
