Welcome to my first PaintShop Pro process video where I recreate the Valentine card from last week’s project. Goodness, it’s taken me a few days to get this organised and I admire the people who do this regularly.
Recording video is easier than taking multitudes of screenshots and writing out each step. Recording videos is harder because I struggle to move my hands and talk at the same time, cue some occasional heavy breaths and louder words! I also have a lot of mouse roaming, which is not something I can help. However, I do explain what I am clicking and the steps I’m taking – in minute detail – so hopefully that won’t be too much of a problem.
This video takes you step-by-step through the process of creating the card shown in the preview below. It takes one hour, eighteen minutes. Did I mention the detail?
Ribbon and Heart shape – the button below takes you to a checkout page to process the download.
To make the heart shape available in PaintShop Pro. Once you have extracted the images from the zip file find the one named jbrad-heart-solid.PspShape and copy it to Documents/Corel PaintShop Pro/your version number/Preset Shapes. For example my version is X8 so that file path is Documents/Corel PaintShop Pro/18.0/Preset Shapes. If you have the newest Version X9, it will be 19.0. You will then be able to find this heart shape in your Preset Shapes list and use it if you wish to.
