There’s just one week left of Sketchtember at 2PeasRefugees. Daily page sketches to challenge us to get scrapbooking, or card-making. It’s been a great challenge to help you create anything!
This is my second sketch and, as usual, I have three versions for you to try. The traditional 12 x 12-inch, 8 1/2 x 11-inch page and a 4 x 6-inch pocket card that can easily be adapted to make a greeting card.

For my 8 1/2 x 11-inch page and the 4 x 6-inch pocket card I kept everything the same. I enjoy taking a full-size sketch and making it fit a much smaller space. A layout doesn’t have to be big, it’s possible to fit just as much into a small area.

I did keep it simple for this layout but there’s room for dressing it up a lot more.
Supplies
- Digital kit: papers, word art quote, stitching and ribbon from Little Discoverer by Anita Designs. (This kit is no longer available but Anita Designs can be found at The Digital Press.)
- Fonts: I used Impact (for the title), turning it into sticker-style alpha lettering, and Open Sans (the date).
